This year too, many trade shows are faced with uncertainty about whether or not their physical edition can take place due to corona. That is why many tradeshow organizations opt in advance for an online show or just consider it. How and when do the trade shows take place where the KVBC conducts its novelty trials?
KVBC Spring Challenge
The first trade fair where the KVBC approves is in June. This fair was previously called Garden Trials and Trade, but since last year it has been called KVBC Spring Challenge. In 2021 there will be no physical or online fair, but novelties will be inspected. The judging will take place on June 15, submitters can register their novelties until May 15.
KVBC Summer Challenge
The Plantarium international trade show will be held from 1 to 3 September 2021. In March it will be decided whether this edition will take place physically or online. The KVBC Summer Challenge is just before the opening of Plantarium, on August 31.
Participants can only register their novelties in the month of April. The reason for this is that the organization can offer more certainty to participants and visitors about whether or not the fair will go ahead.
GrootGroenPlus
The 31st edition of this international nursery stock trade fair is from 6 to 8 October 2021. For now, a physical fair is assumed to be held in Zundert. The trial of the novelties by the KVBC is on October 5. Registration is possible till 1 September.
New way of registering
We are working hard to ensure that registrations for the KVBC Spring Challenge and KVBC Summer Challenge run through the KVBC website – www.kvbc.nl – from this spring on. Preparations are in full swing and more information will follow shortly. Signing up for GrootGroenPlus will remain the same for the time being, namely via www.grootgroenplus.nl. When these registrations also go through the website of the KVBC, you will be duly informed.
